Kathmandu – Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced a 16-member team for the Emerging Teams Asia Cup. The Nepali team has been announced under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel.

The Asia Cup will start from July 13 in Sri Lanka. Nepal is going to play the Emerging Cup as the winner of the ACC Premier Cup. The runners-up of the tournament, UAE, and third-placed Oman are also playing in the Emerging Cup.

Group B of the Emerging Cup consists of Nepal, UAE, Pakistan A and India A. Similarly, Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A and Oman are in Group A. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.

Nepal will play against Pakistan A on July 14. Nepal will play the second match against India A on July 17. Nepal will play against UAE on July 19. The semi-final of the tournament will be held on July 21 and the final on July 23.
